My hobby began quite innocently with a small wooden figurine, which I got for my birthday. Next cat figurines arrived rapidly filling all the shelves and bookcases around the house: gifts, souvenirs from distant countries, statuettes dug out while shopping or surfing in the net, postcards, drawings etc. New ones keep coming....
